Beavers: Exploring Natures Engineers and the Habitats They Create

September 29, 2013 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

| Free

Lynne Flaccus, naturalist and Programs Manager at Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association will lead an exploration of a beaver pond and the plants and animals that live there.  Participants will explore the beaver pond at Hidden Valley Nature Center as part of the Centers Open House, learning about the natural history of beavers and looking for signs of past activity. Beavers create wonderful habitat for a diversity of other plant and animals, so we’ll see what else we can find! The exploration is designed for all ages.
