Winter Family Fun Day, Weld

Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sliding, tote sled & hay rides and nature walks. Warming hut and lunch. Ski and snowshoe trailer on site for free equipment loans. Instructions in skiing, ice skating and snowshoeing. Winter camping Demo. Outdoor nature center activities.

Snowshoe or Ski Long Cove Headwaters, Searsport

Come explore a range of forest types, several wetlands and look for signs of snowshoe hare, deer, moose, raccoon and other wildlife. The two loop trails on the preserve are easy to moderate in pace. The group will decide together to explore the blue loop only or the red loop as well.

Twilight Walk on the Eastern Trail, Biddeford

Our twilight walk will start at the trail head at the rear of the Southern Maine Health Care Hospital parking lot. Depending on the trail conditions and weather we will hike, snowshoe or cross country ski in the direction of the Arundel town line at a leisurely pace with stops to point out local features of the area. Join the Down East Sunrise Trail and East Coast Greenway Alliance for their first official cross country ski tour on the Down East Sunrise Trail in Hancock County, Maine.
